This 5 day Gorilla trekking safari Rwanda is for those that are interested in gorilla tracking and later extend to other countries like Uganda , Tanzania and Kenya as this gives you enough time to explore Easter Africa regions as well as the Pearl of Africa Uganda. It offers you an opportunity to trek the Giant mountain Gorillas of Rwanda twice, trek golden monkeys and a visit to the grave of Diane Fossey.
Day 1: Arrival and visit Kigali memorial center
On arrival, you will be welcomed by our safari guide and later transfer to Kigali genocide Memorial center referred to as the general exhibition ground of genocide in Rwanda. It’s the only place where the genocide truth lies like historical Rwanda genocide story of 1994, catalogues with details of the genocide using photographs, video and written accounts plus a range of artifacts, personal testimonies then Memorial Gardens containing ten graves and National Documentation Centre of the Genocide all add to the importance of the deceased. After the visit you will be transferred to Ruhengeri for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, you will proceed to the headquarters of the park where your guide will complete the essential official procedure of briefing and getting to know the Dos and Don’ts while trekking the Giants of Volcanoes. Meet the ranger guide for a briefing about gorilla tracking in volcanoes national park the activity as you get prepared for the great life time experience of the natural beauty of these tropical rain forest. You will start your first phase of tracking in the tropical forest that will provide comfort to filled with natural cool breeze of the Volcanoes. After meeting the Giants of Volcanoes, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Optional second gorilla trek or golden monkey
Optional second gorilla tracking which aims at exhausting the different gorilla group. Doing a second trek it gives you the opportunity to identify and realise that these primates are completely different from one another as you compare the two different groups trekked. You can as well go for golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park as one place where gold meets with silver. Return for lunch at the Lodge.

Day 4: Visit Dian Fossey Foundation.
After our lovely breakfast at our lodge, head to the grave of the late Dian Fossey the first white Gorilla Hero of Africa and an American naturalist get to learn how one can become a hero by listening to her history and struggle efforts to the gorilla lifestyle, and if you wish, you still get your own copy of Gorillas in the mist a natural move based on natural beauty of Africa rainy forests. overnight at your lodge

Day 5: Drive back to Kigali to depart back home
